Hot Cocoa Coffee Recipe
Delicious, homemade hot cocoa coupled with a coffee kick is a sure way to warm your spirits!
Along with being delicious, both chocolate and coffee contain an impressive amount of antioxidants and when chocolate is heated up it releases even more. So, go ahead and drink up!
How to Make It
This recipe is easy to make with ingredients you likely have at home.
First off, finely chop 2 oz of semisweet chocolate. We recommend using a high quality chocolate bar for best results. Set this aside for later use.
Next, heat milk in a medium saucepan on the stovetop set to low. Take care not to overheat. Your milk will be ready when you see little bubbles forming around the edge of the saucepan.
When the milk is warm, add the finely chopped chocolate, cocoa powder, sugar, and vanilla extract. Give it a whisk until all chocolate is fully melted and remaining ingredients are well incorporated. Remove from heat.
Freshly brew one cup of World Cuppa coffee.
Pour coffee and desired amount of hot cocoa mixture into your mug and top with marshmallows for added sweetness, if desired.
There should be enough mixture to share with a friend if you don't drink it all by yourself, but who could blame you!
